Investigation and Analysis of Psychological Balance State and Professional Adaptability of Air Traffic Controllers

This paper investigates 106 controllers by General Health Questionnaire (GHQ12),adaption trait questionnaire and psychological balance questionnaire.The results show that controllers tend to take physiological needs and safety needs seriously,and the level of job satisfaction and psychological balance is lowest in salary & income,rest & vacation,and living condition.There are varying degrees of differences in post,age,gender,length of service in units for job value,job mobility,job satisfaction,and psychological balance.According to the twodimensional distribution of adaption trait and adaption state,the professional adaptability could be classified to nine zones.Management department could establish the level of psychological risk based on the distribution of the professional adaptability of controllers,and take measures to improve the professional adaptability,such as adaptation adjustment,shaping job values,enhancing job mobility,job satisfaction and psychological balance regulation to explore the psychological balance state and professional adaptability of air traffic controllers.
