In the urban construction activities,a large amount of construction waste which is mainly made up of abandoned soil and abandoned material is easy to form a sediment slope with poor stability.In addition,the rainfall has a negative influence on the stability of sediment soil slope,which may cause great potential harm. with GEO STUDIO software,this paper analyzes a characteristic slope of construction sediment receiving field to study the groundwater seepage and stability characteristics under rainfall conditions.The paper designs five different intensities of rainfall cases and obtains the seepage contour and stability results of construction sediment slope.The numerical simulation results show that the groundwater flows out from the weathered rock strata.As the rainfall intensity increases,the total head and pore water pressure in the same position of slope increases gradually,and the groundwater level in the slope also rises,however,the stability coefficient of sediment soil slope decreases gradually.
