When using slurrysupported wall technology to construct diaphragm wall,the unit weight of slurry and the stability of the trench wall are the key factors affecting the quality and safety of the project.Aiming at the shortcoming of the mechanical model for stability analysis of slurry trench of the diaphragm wall at present，this paper holds that the crack surface of the slurry trench of diaphragm wall is controlled by the soil arching effect. The paper analyzes the geometrical morphology of the potential crack surface,and establishes the threedimensional morphological model of the potential sliding object.Based on the principle of limit equilibrium,the paper proposes a calculation method of the minimum unit weight of slurry for slurry trench of diaphragm wall.The example shows that the method can be applied for clay and nonclay,and it is reliable and convenient for engineering application.
